These terms cover your use of vbMail, an invite-only tool for tracking college volleyball recruiting outreach and sending recruiting email from your own Gmail account. By signing in, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use vbMail.
Who can use vbMail
- You must be at least 13 years old. Accounts identified as under 13 are blocked.
- If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you and help manage your account.
- vbMail is invite-only. You need an invitation from an existing user or an admin, and you sign in with a Google account.
Your account
You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure. If you share your account with a parent, guardian or family member, they can view and edit the same recruiting data and send email from the Gmail accounts you've connected, and you're responsible for what they do there too.
Email you send
vbMail sends email from your own Gmail account, only when you send it. You're responsible for everything you send, including its content and who receives it. When using vbMail, you agree not to:
- Send spam, harassing or misleading messages, or email people who have asked you to stop.
- Impersonate someone else or misrepresent who you are.
- Break Google's terms and Gmail sending limits, or the law.
- Try to access other users' data, interfere with the service, or use it in an automated way it wasn't built for.
Following the recruiting rules of the NCAA, NAIA or any other organization, including contact and timing rules, is your responsibility. vbMail doesn't check messages against those rules.
Your data
The schools, coaches, notes, templates and other information you add stay yours. You give vbMail permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. How we handle your data, including Gmail data, is described in the Privacy Policy.
No guarantees
vbMail is a tool for organizing your outreach. It doesn't guarantee that coaches will read or reply to your email, or any recruiting outcome. School and coach details may be out of date, so check anything important with the program directly.
vbMail is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. It may change, have bugs or be unavailable at times. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose; you can export a full backup from the app at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, vbMail and the people who run it aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, opportunities or scholarships, arising from your use of the service.
Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using vbMail at any time and ask for your account and data to be deleted. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as vbMail changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use vbMail after an update means you accept it.
